‘SNL’ Alum David Spade Gets $19.5 Million for Beverly Hills Home
February 11, 2022
The deal closed Tuesday, according to listing agent Stuart Vetterick of Hilton & Hyland, who declined to identify the buyer. He said Mr. Spade received “multiple offers” on the house in celebrity-filled Trousdale Estates. “We are in a market where there is such little supply that it just drives demand,” Mr. Vetterick said. “You can see that across all price points.”
Designed by architect Edward Fickett, the Beverly Hills house was built in 1978. Over the years, Mr. Spade renovated the roughly 6,400-square-foot home, which has four bedrooms and three fireplaces. He added a sleek metal parapet to the roofline, updated his-and-hers primary bathrooms and expanded the TV room, which has a bar. There is also a sunken great room with roughly 20-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors that open to a patio.
The roughly ¾-acre property also has a motor court, three-car garage, pool and tennis court.
